Drum Major Auditions...

Not only are dega darlin auditions next week, but also drum major auditions. If you stay after school this week I will work with you on conducting and leadership basics, and next week we will have an instructor; therefore, it doesn't matter if you don't know anything about conducting because you will learn everything you need to know before auditions. If you are interested in becoming the drum major then talk to me and I will teach you some things and have you ready for when the instructor comes next week. Thanks... :) The position of drum major is much more than conducting. The responibilities also include strong character, leadership and being a good role model and friend to all band kids not only during marching season but year round. I encourage anyone with true passion for music and the desire to lead to participate with the drum major auditons.
